  • Ron Louder, Trombone

    Ron Louder, an inaugural member of Brassworks, is a graduate of Penn State with a Master’s of Music Education. After an 8 year career teaching music in the public schools he moved to the Hershey area to pursue a career in sales and now serves as a Financial Advisor for Thrivent Financial. Although serving as Brassworks’ principle Trombonist, Ron’s primary instrument is Saxophone and plays with a number of local Harrisburg area performing ensembles on sax.

  • Andrew Charland, Tuba

    Originally from Rhode Island, Andrew was involved in music from a young age, playing both piano and trumpet before transitioning to Tuba. Andrew played at the college level in the Boston College Screaming Eagles Marching Band as well as the Concert Band and Brass Choir groups. He later played with Bay Colony Brass out of Watertown, MA and The American Band out of Providence, RI, before settling in Central PA and joining Brassworks in 2012.

  • Jason Clarke, Trumpet

    Growing up in New Jersey, Jason began playing trumpet in elementary school. In college at William & Mary, he performed in the concert and pep bands, was a member of the school’s brass quintet and studied under Chris Fensom, currently principal trumpet with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. After college, Jason has performed with various community ensembles, including the Richmond (Va.) Concert Band, Greensboro (N.C.) Concert Band and the Greensboro Brass Quintet. In addition to Brassworks, Jason is also a member of Grantham Brass, a church-based brass choir.

  • Nathan Froehlich, Trumpet

    In addition to being a trumpet player in Brassworks, Nathan Froehlich is an amateur composer and arranger, as well as a multi-instrumentalist dabbling in several other brass and woodwind instruments. When he isn't performing, Nathan loves helping others with their musical journey through editing and transcribing music for vgleadsheets.com, and staffing for events like the Music and Gaming Festival (MAGFest) in the "Jam Clinic." Nathan is a lifelong resident of central Pennsylvania and has played with multiple organizations around the region including the Lower Paxton Variety Band, Lancaster British Brass Band, Keystone Concert Band, Village Encore Band @ Masonic Village, Unforgettable Big Band, Washington Metropolitan Gamer Symphony Orchestra, and Hershey Symphony, among others.

  • Lisa Cronin, French Horn

    Lisa developed a love of music at an early age when she started piano lessons. She began playing the French horn in 4th grade and continued throughout college. Lisa played with various ensembles while majoring in music performance at Carnegie Mellon as well as The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown where she received her degree in Mathematics Education. Although she played periodically for various high school musicals and at church after college, it wasn’t until she retired from teaching in 2019 that she returned to playing regularly. Lisa is a member of the Keystone Concert Band, the New Cumberland Town Band, the Mechanicsburg Singer Band, and most recently the West Shore Symphony Orchestra before joining the Brassworks quintet.

  • Andy Snyder, Percussion

    Andy Snyder is a graduate of West Chester University and University of the Arts with degrees in Music Education. He previously taught elementary band in Lancaster County, PA. In addition to accompanying Brassworks on percussion Andy serves on the worship team at his church in Strasburg, PA and plays percussion at St. James Episcopal church.
